Which physiotherapist should I go to in Torremolinos?
Physiotherapist in Torremolinos: who's there and how to choose
There are at least 11 physiotherapy clinics across Torremolinos, Playamar, La Carihuela, Churriana and Guadalmar. Only two of them publish their prices: a single session runs at €40-50 and a block of five sessions at €180-200. More than the price, what should decide it is whether they give you a proper assessment on the first visit and whether you leave with something to do between sessions.

Said plainly: these come first because we work with them. That means we have an interest in it going well for you with them — and that we know how they work from the inside, which we cannot say of anyone else. The full list of the area is in the page.
How this list was checked
All 11 were checked one by one on each centre's own website on 2 September 2026. None of it comes from Google Maps or listings sites: when we verified them, we found several of those publish the wrong opening hours. We give the full details — where, opening hours, prices — for the centres we work with. For the rest: that they exist, and where to find them.

Who we work with
Two partners, covering two different steps: Antifrágil for physiotherapy, Clínica Élite Costa del Sol for the medical step.
Let's be upfront: Antifrágil comes first because they're our partner. That means two things — we have a stake in things going well for you with them, and we know how they work from the inside, which we can't say of the others. That's why the list below is complete: the choice is yours.
- Antifrágil · Playamar — Physiotherapy and training under one roof, which is what sets it apart: being discharged by the physio doesn't leave you hanging. The team trains every week on real cases — the thinking behind this site's health pages comes from there. Book online; no prices or opening hours are published on the website. Where: Av. Marifé de Triana, 6 · Playamar. Phone: 611 05 79 73. Opening hours: not published. Prices: not published. Website: https://antifragil.net/fisioterapia-torremolinos-playamar/
- Clínica Élite Costa del Sol · Town centre — Multidisciplinary centre: the medical step in the area. This is where Dr Alba Solís, a rehabilitation physician specialising in the musculoskeletal system, holds her clinic. It's where you go when physiotherapy alone isn't enough and you need a medical diagnosis, an ultrasound scan or an injection. They also offer physiotherapy, podiatry, sports medicine and pilates. Where: Av. Manuel Fraga Iribarne, 15, Local 4. Phone: 951 665 969 · 693 77 99 49. Opening hours: Mon-Thu 09:00-21:00 · Fri 09:00-20:00 · closed at weekends. Prices: not published. The other clinics in the area
They exist, we've checked them and here they are. Their prices, opening hours and phone numbers are on their own websites: we only publish the full details for the centres we work with, because those are the ones we can vouch for.

What a physiotherapist costs in the Torremolinos area
Of the 11 clinics, only two publish their prices on their website. Between them, a single session runs from €40 to €50, a block of three sessions from €110 to €135 and a block of five from €180 to €200. Some blocks expire after three or five months: ask before you pay.
The other nine ask you to call. That isn't a bad sign in itself — many price by the type of session — but it's worth knowing before you go.

What to ask before you book
Five questions that tell you more about a clinic than any review. They come from Antifrágil's in-house training material.
- Is the first session an assessment, or do you start treatment straight away? — They should spend a good while looking at you and asking questions before laying hands on you. If you're on the couch by minute two, you know less than you think.
- Will you measure my strength, or just my mobility? — Comparing one side with the other tells you things mobility alone doesn't. Not everyone does it.
- How many sessions do you reckon, and when should I notice a difference? — A serious professional commits to an answer. And if nothing has changed after two or three sessions, the sensible thing is to rethink the approach, not carry on the same.
- Will you give me exercises to do at home? — The session opens a window; what keeps it open is what you do the rest of the week. If nobody gives you anything to do, half the process is missing.
- How much does it cost, and do the session blocks expire? — Hardly anyone publishes prices. And several blocks expire after three or five months: ask before you pay.
When it isn't a physiotherapist's job
There are situations where the right move isn't to book a physio, but to be seen by a doctor:
A good professional will tell you this themselves and refer you on. That they do so is exactly what you're looking for in one.
- Fever, unexplained weight loss or feeling generally unwell alongside the pain.
- A recent hard knock or fall.
- Loss of strength, numbness, or changes in bladder or bowel control.
- Pain that hasn't eased at all in weeks, or that wakes you at night.
And between one session and the next?
That's where we come in: we build your week around what you can tolerate today, using your real days. The appointment opens the window; the week keeps it open.

Perhaps your next problem
Four questions that usually come right after this one.

- If you come out of the session fine and two days later you're back where you started → /por-que-el-alivio-del-fisio-no-dura

What people believe, and what is true
Belief: A good physio gets you on the couch straight away: the more hands-on time in the session, the better the clinic.
What is true: A proper first visit spends a good while assessing you before anyone touches you, ideally measuring strength side by side and not just mobility. And what keeps the result is what you do between sessions: if you leave without exercises, half the process is missing.

How much does a physiotherapist cost in Torremolinos?
Of the clinics in the area that publish prices on their website: a single session runs from €40 to €50, a block of three sessions from €110 to €135 and a block of five from €180 to €200. Most don't publish prices and you have to call. Checked on 2 September 2026.
When should I see a doctor instead of a physiotherapist?
When the pain comes with fever, unexplained weight loss or feeling generally unwell; after a recent hard knock or fall; if you have loss of strength, numbness or changes in bladder or bowel control; or if the pain hasn't eased at all in weeks or wakes you at night. A good physio will tell you this themselves and refer you on. In the Torremolinos area, Clínica Élite Costa del Sol is where Dr Alba Solís, a rehabilitation physician, holds her clinic.

Gym, physio or doctor: who to see in Torremolinos Physiotherapists in Torremolinos and what they chargeData checked on each centre's own website on 2 September 2026. Where we say a centre does not publish something, that is exactly what we found. Health criteria come from the clinical training of the physiotherapy team at Antifrágil, the Torremolinos centre we work with; the medical step in the area is Dr Alba Solís, rehabilitation physician (Clínica Élite Costa del Sol). This page explains and points you in the right direction; it does not diagnose. The rest of the site is in Spanish.
